Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions concerning the holiday rental of our student apartments.
During which time period are the vacation rentals available?
Our student apartments can be booked during semester break (from July 1st to September 10th) for summer vacations.
How can I book a vacation rental?
Please fill out the online form on our website.
Enter your travel dates and personal information so we can send you the respective offer per e-mail.
Are the STUWO vacation apartments rented out per day?
In general, the following minimum stays apply to our summer apartments:
Graz: minimum of 3 days
Krems: minimum of 3 days
Lambach: minimum of 3 days
Villach: minimum of 3 days
How much is the security deposit?
When you receive the keys, you will have to leave a security deposit of 100.00 euro in cash. We will return the deposit after your check-out is completed and everything is in order.
Do I have to make a down payment and how much is it?
Yes. After you receive your booking confirmation, you need to make the following down payment:
- for a stay of 3-7 days: 50.00 euro
- for a stay of more than 7 days: 100.00 euro
When do I have to pay the rest?
The balance payment has to be made 10 days before arrival.
How much is the final cleaning fee?
When you check out, we will charge you an amount of 60.00 euro for each apartment.
How much is the laundry package?
Graz: 8.00 euro
Krems: 20.00 euro
Lambach: 20.00 euro
Villach: 9.00 euro
Children under age 6 years – laundry package per request
How much is the tourist tax?
Graz: 1.50 euro per person/night
Krems: 1.60 euro per person/night
Lambach: 2.00 euro per person/night
Villach: 1.90 euro per person/night
Can I make changes to my booking?
It is possible to change your booking up to 10 days before arrival. A change is basically a withdrawal in combination with a new booking. We charge a general amount of 30.00 euro (rebooking fee) for changes.
It is possible for another person to take over your contract. More information can be found under point 7.3 of our General Terms and Conditions.
How do I cancel my contract / my booking?
The contract must be cancelled in writing.
The following costs arise:
Up to 3 months before arrival: no fee
3 to 1 months before arrival: 40% of the rental costs
20 to 8 days before arrival: 70% of the rental costs
7 to 0 days (no-show): 90% of the rental costs
Are there any costs in case of an early departure?
If you do not make use of contractual services for personal reasons, you cannot claim a reduction of the rental costs.
Are there fixed check-in and check-out times?
Graz:
Check-in: 3pm to 5pm or by prior arrangement
Check-out: 8am to 10am or by prior arrangement
Krems:
Check-in and check-out: 2pm to 6pm or by prior arrangement
No arrivals on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Lambach:
Check-in and check-out: 2pm to 6pm or by prior arrangement
No arrivals on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Villach:
Check-in: 3pm to 5pm or by prior arrangement
Check-out: 8am to 10am or by prior arrangement
Is there any parking available?
Graz:
Parking garage – 6,00 euro per spot/night
Krems: parking available
Lambach: parking available
Villach: free-of-charge parking available
Can I bring a pet to the apartment?
It is not allowed to bring pets to our vacation rentals.
