There is nobody in Graz who does not know the Bausatzlokale. For good reason, as they are something like the veterans of the student bars in Graz. The Sägewerk restaurant, for example, has been around since 1997. It has the rustic flair that is typical to the Bausatzlokale, including subdued lighting as well as nicely worn out tables and seating areas.
Other popular locations in the heart of the university district are the Posaune, Zeppelin, Gramophon, Propeller and the Bierbaron.
